It doesn't matter where you come from - UK, Europe or anywhere else in the world, it is important to ensure that your qualifications are recognised. In the UK there is a national agency that carries out this service, they are called UK NARIC.

NARIC provide information and advice about vocational, academic and professional skills and qualifications from all over the world and they are used by higher education institutions, professional bodies and commercial organisations to help relate overseas qualifications to the UK qualifications framework.

They operate under contract to the Department for Education and Skills (DfES), providing information and advice on over 2,000 qualifications from over 180 countries.
